One of our favorite shows to watch on http://www.direc4u.com/ is American Idol. We really like to watch it from the beginning each season. The beginning contestants are usually entertaining because they are so terrible. I don’t even see how they get in to audition because they are so bad. I am sure the producers just put them on there so they can boost the ratings of the program. From all the thousands of people that audition, I don’t see how they can even look at that many people to get it down to the final twelve competitors. When they have narrowed it down to twelve people, you start getting to know a lot about their backgrounds and where they came from. Some of the stories will just break your heart. And others show that the contestant has really worked hard their whole life to get to the point that they are competing on American Idol. You can usually tell the ones who have paid their dues. So as a new season is getting underway, I look forward to watching it each week to see where it takes us. This show is one of the only shows that my husband and I both like to watch.

I am the youngest of four children and I think being the youngest is the hardest. I am sure everyone is disagreeing with me, but it is true. Sure the oldest sets the path for the others to follow in, but the youngest has to clean everything up in the end. I am the last to move out and that has been a traumatic experience for my parents. My mom tried to act like everything was ok. She helped me find my new place. She helped me set up all the utilities and even gave her opinion about the best direct tv moreno valley had to offer. However, I could see how much she didn’t want me to leave. I am sure it will be a big change to go from always having a kid in the house to suddenly no kids. I think she thought it would be exciting. She might have even thought it would be like when they were first married. I have no doubt I will continue to visit, but I hope she is able to be excited soon.

Ugh. Someone PLEASE remind me to never- EVER move again! I am moving to Green Bay, Wisconsin next week , and I have told my husband that I will seriously die in this next house that we bought because I am SO SICK of packing and labeling and moving and not being able to find anything! I can’t find my toothbrush or anything useful. Plus moving is expensive! I seriously cannot believe how much you have to pay people to come and pick up boxes, transfer them on to a truck, and then sit behind the wheel of an oversized truck only to pick up boxes again. Along with that, there are so many hidden costs- closing costs, real estate fees, etc. Then you have to somehow remember to transfer all of your accounts and bills to your new place! You have to also get your services changed- like I went to NHL Center Ice to get my new direct TV channels, I had to figure out the electricity and water companies, etc. I don’t know why I decided that I needed to complain- but I just hate moving! I think we can all agree to that!

Buying and selling homes is something I’ve done for years but there’s never been a better time to get in the market than now. The problem is that there really aren’t a lot of homes being sold so what I’ve done is just buy three places that I can fix up and sell when the market starts to come back. I actually moved into one of them which I never do on projects like this and I’ve been making it more my own every day. I may even stay here when the market’s back just because I like the darn place so much! I got ExpertSatellite.com satellite for the TVs and I’m hiring someone to come and put in crown molding so that should really spruce the place up. I also went to a realtor in town to come have it appraised and just with the minimal work I’ve done she said I can get about 50k more for it than what I paid which is a pretty good return on investment!

My mom is really into that show Say Yes to the Dressalthough I?m not getting married anytime soon so I don?t know why she?s always calling me and telling me to look at someone on it. I think she just assumes that since Jarred and I have been dating for about 10 years that we?ve got one foot down the aisle but the truth is, if we wanted to get married so badly we already would have! Anyway, she recently went to DIRECT.tV through a suggestion of mine and got satellite so she?s got all these new channels and TLC is definitely her favorite. She likes all the reality stuff but definitely none more so than that stupid dress show?I wish she would leave me out of it! Apparently Nick Lachey and his girlfriend Vanessa got married a few weeks ago and there?s a special on it and she won?t stop calling me trying to set up a ?phone date? where we watch the special together. If she keeps up I?m gonna go crazy!
